Is This A Good Bill?

Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) just introduced the “Saving Medicare Act” — a bill aimed at stopping what he calls Medicare Advantage insurers “profiteering” off Medicare. Days later, the Goodman Institute fired back with “Don’t Destroy Medicare Advantage.” I read both, point by point, as someone who’s spent 16 years sitting across the table from thousands of real Medicare beneficiaries — not from a Capitol Hill office.
